a situation described !

I've known something for a long time, that I would do unconsciously. And other people do it too. But I couldn't describe it. It's just that it's not something that I can see with my eyes, it's what my mind sees.

I was reading Emma today morning, and then the author, Jane Austen, described the situation this post is about so accurately, I started laughing. It's too beautiful to be able to say something like that.

"...and make everybody's talents conduce to the display of his own superiority; to be dispensing his flatteries around that he may make all appear like fools compared with himself !..."

You know, like if you're talking with someone and he says something smart which you hadn't thought of, so you say: hmmm, you're right, only if eg. velocity is greater initially. when in fact you should say: well done. And then be quiet.

Or your sister draws something nice, so you say: yes...very good, but instead of blue down here you should have used green, because... When in fact you should say: well done. And then be quiet.

Or your classmate is better than you at Biology. And you've just come out the classroom, and you say: you know, you're really good at remembering facts, but you need to improve your problem solving. like you're better than him everywhere, to be able to asses him. When in fact you should say: you're amazing mashAllah. And then be quiet.

there's a sandstorm sandstorm sandstorm, outside the window
hey my little twigger, you've got a twitchy tail
there was once a chauffeur
who sang a little song
as he drove the roads
and when he sat down to write it
he forgot it all
but the road had lanes
and it had cars
and the cars moved together
to the rhyme of his song

outdoors

Study, sleep, wake up, shower, study, computer, study and sleep again. Everything except the Qur'an and studying is unimportant and can be forgotten and killed like an unresponsive Google Chrome tab. And there's a wonderful world out there waiting, outside the windows and front door, of a calm breeze and a warm sun and many dead leaves which are beautiful in death, especially when they dance along and scratch the road in the breeze.

And being a school student I study with a lot of people who don't understand what the weather really is. If you're sitting in the class and there's sunlight streaming in bringing with it twigs and orange leaves from outside and there are colourful posters on the wall, you can feel like the class is your heart and it's colourful and sunlit, but no-one notices because the teacher is explaining something.

Every weather has its own mood, and you can't look at the weather from the window and feel snug and comfortable or hot and stuffy, whatever the weather is, and think I like this weather or I don't. You have to feel like a cloud up in the sky, in the middle of everything, then you'll feel what the weather is like and it will give you a mood.

bunnies that were

Is ignorance negligence? not always. You can't be expected to know everything, to prepare for every eventuality. But our ignorance was inexcusable negligence. Is negligence ever excusable? I don't know.

We had two 1 and 1/2- month old rabbits and one adult. We didn't think it'll be too cold for them on our roof, where we built their enclosure. But the temperature's been dropping - that's what happens when winter is coming - and I think it was a cold wind blowing last night. I went to check on them today early morning before going to school. The two little bunnies were sprawled close to each other on the soil and saw-dust bedding, like they had been blown down by the cold and the wind. They probably cuddled and cuddled until they had no energy left, and then they just lay down and gave in.

The big rabbit ( Waffles ) was hopping about the roof. I like to think that he's disconsolate now, but we'll find him a few bunny friends soon inshAllah, and we'll bring them down into the house in a hutch night-times.

I buried the two bunnies in the sand pit on the way to school.

Do you want to feel like drowning? then go jogging and breathe hard in out in out iieenn ooouutt into the breeze. When you try to breathe in the breeze will push air down your throat and keep pushing and piling air up in your mouth and you can barely stop inhaling then you can hardly exhale at all because you can't blow the breeze the other way round, not even just in front of your mouth.

Do you know that I keep wanting to write a short story, but I can't imagine any story up. I have totally no idea. But I can day dream. I get more than enough of that.                I have a jet-pack on my back and goggles over my eyes and that's all and I've spread my arms like a bird - who's not flapping because he doesn't need to - and i'm all on my own in the quiet sky. There are sand dunes under me and lines of trees between them. Eyes shift focus. From a point in imaginary space to another.         I've invented a new kind of road which is entirely electromagnetic and the cars are actually like the bumper cars in theme parks. If you bump you'll just slide around and bump into a lot of other cars but that way no-one will ever get hurt in a car crash inshAllah. It's funny if you imagine someone trying to drive to work and he get's bumped from here, and spun around, and shoved from the back. It's like a wimp walking through a big bunch of bullies.

Do you wanna know what the cat did? Maybe he thought "I wish I could pluck a bird CLEAN, but I can't get a bird so I'll just shred this tissue".
